The Software
The "Participants" application helps you manage children as participants of your research studies. It enables you to effortlessly handle parents' contact information and study data in one optimized system. You can add families and attributes such as pregnancy week, languages etc. and find the suitable participants for your studies based on filter criteria. Keep notes and trace contacts.
Multi User Access
With the Participants.App it is possible for you to create, expand and share the needed information about the child participants and their families. Data from studies can be stored and filtered to find and invite participants for future research. Additionally, the Participants App allows you to differentiate user roles in admins and workers.
The apps' structure enables the perfect multi user collaboration in research projects by allowing simultaneous access to and editing rights for the data.
The Crowd Funding Idea
We know your budget is limited. The Participants.App project is made possible by the teamwork of junior and senior software developers. We cooperate with university labs to integrate the features you need. And you can become part of this cooperation, too. By supporting our work with a small one time license fee, you have the chance to help all labs to further enhance the software by becoming a co-product owner. That means you have the opportunity to bring in your suggested improvements and contribute ideas for new features and functions. Together, the implementation costs could be shared and all labs can benefit from its growth and progress.

System
Requirements
For the Participants.App you need to run a Docker Engine. To store the data you need a MySQL Database. The Database credentials are mounted as a volume on the Docker container. We recommend at least 1 to 2 GB of RAM. To use the app you need a modern web browser.
License
Model
There is an unlimited user one time license fee of 999€ excl. Tax for one lab registration. In case multiple labs use one installation then this license fee applies for each lab.
